A typical day at the campus would be as follows:
· 07h00 to 07h45 – Breakfast
· 08h00 to 10h00 – Start off by discussing the assignments given the previous day
Lectures & projects.
· 10h00 to 10h30 – Tea/coffee break
· 10h30 to 12h00 – Lectures & projects (receive assignments for the next day)
· 12h00 to 13h00 – Own time to do assignments / Relax / Language laboratory
· 13h00 to 14h00 - Lunch
· 14h30 to 17h00 – Doing practical in the bush on the work that was done in the morning / of the past few days
· 17h00 to 19h30 - Relax / If your team are responsible for dinner, you will help Themba and the other chefs with food preparation / do assignments / language laboratory
· 19h30-21h00 – Dinner, and we have regular wine tastings
· 21h00 and later – Continue with assignments / join the others around the campfire / do star gazing, depending the phase of the moon / enjoy a beer at our bar
We have various leisure activities to keep the learners occupied and build team spirit:
· Table tennis
· Darts
· Volley ball
· “Giffie”
· “Gat-penny”
· Pool
· Dancing
· Sing-songs around the campfire
· Fishing
· Kayaking
· Horse riding (Lindbergh Lodge)
· Mountain biking
· Board games, like Pictionary and others
· Some traditional Voortrekker games
· Some traditional games played by tribal blacks in Southern Africa
To assist the learner:
· We have a comprehensive language laboratory, where the learner can spend as many hours as he/she wishes.
· We also have a comprehensive library with a few hundred nature and culture tourism books, where you can do in depth research on all subject matter we do in the training program, and for assignments.
